Valentine Divine Cooking Course

Roshni & I had the pleasure of hosting 6 Guests at our Valentine Divine Cooking Course this past weekend... This was our opportunity to express ourselves with the focus not only on Valentines Day but rather inspired by the idea of love and ultimately self-love in particular. Everyone got to share what love means to them, followed by laughter as we savored the quote "Love is not an emotion, it is our very existence. We are made up of this substance called love" Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

Then we moved on to the wholesome meal preparation comprised of Rejuvenating Floral Tea, Yellow Lental Rice, Ayurvedic Cauliflower Special, Cucumber and Pineapple Fingers, Seekand and Date Rolls. In between we had a heartfelt experience learning the Self-Abhyanga Massage, that left everyone feeling energized and ready to enjoy our divine offering...

To conclude, many of the ingredients and spices used have medicinal purposes and are used for the preparation of Home Remedies... A Course we would like to host on the near future!

Lalushka Panday had this to say "This is an extremely wonderful experience. I'll definitely keep coming back. Thank you both so much."

Christmas SEVA in Oragne Farm

I had the opportunity to make a difference this Festive Season, to the children at Orange Farm Kidz Clinic. The Art of Living Foundation & its sister organization, The International Association for Human Values, Pick 'n Pay and Nashua hosted the Xmas Party, while Volunteers entertained and facilitated Yoga and Art Classes to the disadvantaged children at the clinic.

Being Pregnant, I got to express my creativity as one of Santa's helpers... Jotting down and naming individual gifts for all 95 who had arrived. We even had some extra arrivals and their gifts had to be hand picked and wrapped on the spot... While I was mindfully busy in Santa's workshop, I could hear laughter as they enjoyed on the Jumping Castles, roar of Lions during the Sri Sri Yoga Session and their cheers as Santa finally made his appearance with a big sack and P 'n P Trolley bursting with gifts from the North.

I did get to take a break from my task, to enjoy a delicious Pink-Cupcake with face-painted young girls and boys, as well as take part in their dancing competition which brought me to happy-tears, being surrounded be so much child-like spontaneity! A wonderful day was had by all and I'd like to thank Vauldi and others involved for making it happen smoothly & with much joy :-)
